Gli SHININGSTAR sono una symphonic metal band originaria di San Pietroburgo, Russia, formatasi nel 2020 dall’unione di musicisti provenienti da gruppi come Hellbomb, Katalepsy, Infiltration, Ethir Anduin, Troll Bens Fir e Svartby.
Influenzata da Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Epica e Fleshgod Apocalypse, la band porta avanti la tradizione del suono symphonic metal, puntando su arie oscure e malinconiche sorrette da arrangiamenti orchestrali.
