SO ZUBROWSKA DEBUT...RIGHT? yes!I hope so!Once upon a time , it was our second show in Balma city near toulouse , Ben pukes on the stage during a song ! It was really funny! We laughed a lot! hahaha hihi hohoho!!!!!!! YOUR BAND HAS BEEN FOUNDED IN 2001...AND SINCE THEN? In 2001 ther were only 3 guys in the band.Flo and Ben join the crew of the band in January 2002, and 11 news songs were born in this marriage. So we recorded "one on six" at Bud records Studio in Bordeaux in February 2003 and the disc was released in september 2003.Since that, we have oppurtunities to play in many shows,festivals and others contests . Now we are working on new materials. I must tell you honestly , by experience , it's cool!!!!!!!!!!!! you know what I mean ?! WHO FOUND THAT ORIGINAL MONICKER? We're not so death metal,so... But I think it's brutal anyway!!! don't you know the buffalos ?In Polish Zubrowka Mean buffalo's Vodka (like a buffalo's soldier without the dreadlocks!!!!!) Jon found the name of the band. IN the begining i t was a kind of a sort of something like a non-serious joke!!But The time learns you to love things you're not suppose to love my friend!!!you see?!So we kept This name! do you like vodka? IN WHICH WAYS HAVE YOU BEEN SIGNED BY REPULSE RECORDS? you must say Xtreem music! We've been signed very quickly, we send the master of "one on six" to Dave Rotten and he answered:"kool" so we signed. Now it's cool because dave rotten is a good guy. WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR DEBUT ALBUM? Love , earth, hate, god (ma non troppo!),sex, drugs and basketball. It's a twelve track album with a very dark evol intro, blastbeats, moshparts, noise, scream, growls, funk (ma non troppo di più) and a GREAT cover! WHY THIS TITLE? Because it's a song about sects, gods and russian roulettes. I don't know why you must talk about it with Ben, because Clod don't say any lyrics just BUBUBUBUUUUUUUUUBUBU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Anyway this songs explains you at the russian roulette it always one chance to die on six ,so... WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THIS TITLE? Nothing, we communicate with music WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE TRACKS FEATURED IN 'ONE ON SIX'? yes I'd like to. I hate teen visions is the first song we made ,it's talking about harcore fashion,"When satan play disco people die" was the second one and it talks about disco, satan, people and dying ; I talk to the wind is about the massacre of "supposed witches" in the middle-age. We don't know exactly what the other songs are about, because Ben writes lyrics which he's the only one to understand. WHICH ARE YOUR FAVE ONES? We don't have fave ones. Our songs are a bit like our childrens ! they're all different but we love all of them!!!"When satan..." makes me laugh but "Sad sick world" makes me cry, and it's the beauty of the world expressed in the difference! THE SOUND IS MOSTLY BRUTAL? ourgh!!!!!!!!!! of course!!!!!!!!non me piace la scuola.You need brutality to make strong metal( ma non troppo!!!). I GUESS YOU'RE INFLUENCED BY U.S. DEATH METAL? Yes we are!! But we are influence by good death metal not only U.S metal !! For me the best scene is in Canada (Cryptopsy , Gorguts and Neuraxis and Ion dissonance )! But it's a personnal point of view .Good death metal it's all around the world that's why I like death/grind/hardcore/etc ;Because they're are no frontier in this music !!!!!!!!! WHICH BANDS DO HAVE MOSTLY INFLUENCED YOUR SOUND? Cryptopsy , Dillinger escape plan, Converge , Cephalic carnage , Dying Fetus, Breach , Burnt by sun , Gorguts , Pantera , N.E , Interval bizzar , Rhapsody , Hatebreed , Nasum , Meshuggah , Nostromo , The redchord and every band with guts and violence !!!!!!! But we also influenced by non-metal , you know? like Jazz , rock , rap , punk , pop , experimental , electronical music , and every kind with guts !!!!!! WHY DO YOU LIKE TO PLAY SO BRUTAL? Because we are drunk !! so we fight !! so we make peace !! Then we tell our life in our song!! Also brutal music make mushing the audience and I thing a mushpit is most beautfull thing in the world , I mush since I'm 12 years old ,Yeah !! ARE YOU INFLUENCED BY SURROUND VIOLENCE IN FRENCH TOWNS? no , our town is not so violent ,there are just 300 murders by year in toulouse it's OK no? We're influence by violence in television : politic , music of shit , advertisement !! I like also the chaotic architecture of Toulouse and this time they're building the subway so tere is roadworks every where in the town and I found that beautyfull!!! Our song "happy pink town" is dedicated to Toulouse and it tell that it is a town of shit . WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR FUTURE PLANS? We are composing the second album , we'll record this one in November so it will released in the beginnig of 2005 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM THIS FIRST ALBUM? What we were expecting from this album has been done !! Now people knows our name , Some festivals ask us for playing , when had the opportunities to play in good festivals with good band ! Now we are working on the second album we'll make more professionally and will try to be better known than now. DO YOU THINK TO TOUR EUROPE? Yes of couse !!!! After the released of second album . we're already planing a tour over europe ( if tour guys from Italia are interesting ...) with a canadian band but not confirmed yet , the tour is plan for the end of February of 2005 WHAT'S YOUR BATTLE-CRY?
