WHO ARE VIRGIN SIN AS BAND MEMBERS?
“Four totally wicked alter egos:
SS-66 Guitar:
A mysterious creation by a very good guitar player, and also the core of this band.
Have also played in other famous underground bands…(try the net..haha)
Very technical and writes all the music, what more can I say.
Schreck Drums:
A total metal maniac, no rest for the wicked!! Lives and eats metal
I think Wacken is this guys Mecca
Also to be found in other underground bands.
Dagon Vocal:
Founder of the band, with a good metal/horror voice
Have all the lyrics to be proud of…a huge Alice Cooper fan!
Zoak Bass:
Well, if you mix glam sleaze and metal you’ll end up with zoak..haha!
Started out as a singer in some other bands, but now handles the Bass in VS.”
WHEN DID YOU FOUND THE BAND?
“Dagon founded the band in the 80´s with a different setup and music style. VIRGIN SIN 2007 is a completely different band, new members with strong images that have made this band what it’s today. Who knows, we might change again tomorrow. Many may wonder why a band from the 80’s only has one full length album and some EP’s in the backlog, but for a long time this band was in rest, and was refunded around 2002. VS have been struggling with record companies for a long time, so now we’re only trying to focus on the bright future.”
WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE VERY FIRST BEGINNING OF BAND...
“All to be said is mention above ;-)”
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS RECORDING-EFFORTS?
“Make em die slowly 7’ -99 (recorded -92 I think)
Not the best sound you can get but a good start for the band!

First cooperation with our producer Anders Hahne
Actually it’s me Zoak on the cover but I have to give Terra (Tenebre) credit for the good bass job on this one, before this record was done Terra was out and I Zoak replaced her.

I think some may hate it, and other will love it and that is exactly what this album is about …some don’t understand, some need time, the ones who understand will be in the front at our shows headbanging…hahah!”
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR FOLLOWING?
“Soon hopefully! No plans right now, but we have some new killer songs ready.”
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTS IN YOUR HISTORY?
“Our live performances I would have to say, that’s what it’s all about. Before our first gig with the currant setup, we found our selves not yet knowing how we wanted to wear the makeup!!! Just 30min before we entered the stage however, we all suddenly found our styles…strange!! One of our favourite gig memories is when we single bandedly managed to completely trash a stage with blood and feathers while dismembering a doll. This resulted in us being banned for life, and getting our heads chewed of by a girl (neard) for being total psychotic freaks!! Ha ha ha!! In other words! we need to get out there more and kick some serious ass!!!! BOOK US!!!!!..haha BOF is of course also a huge milestone for the band!”
COULD YOU INTRODUCE US "BROTHERHOOD OF FREAKS"?
“Sure! About some of the tracks…. The title track Brotherhood of freaks in many ways introduces the band and the record The song has all the different elements you can find on the record (thrash, metal, death). A good opening track in my opinion Scars is one of my personal favourites on the album…very dark and with interesting dynamics, that balances up the album ..pure METAL and a killer to play live!!!!!!!!! Sane inside insanity and Whoregasm are more traditional Metal songs that I think almost every metalhead can relate to. (“Sane”can also be found on “Seduction of the innocent” 10’ from 2003 totally different recording ) Face the blade represents the old sound of Virgin Sin, five to ten years ago all the songs on the album would have sounded similar to this one. Skinned Alive (also to be found on “seduction of the…) can be said to represent the typical Virgin Sin sound of today. this song is a bone crusher ….try to keep you head from banging on this one!!!!!! In general I believe that the combination of songs on the album creates both a graspable image of the bands overall sound, as well as being individual enough to stand the test of time and repeated listening…and last but not least they kick ass live!”
THE SOUND IS BOMBASTIC HEAVY METAL...RIGHT?
“STRAIGHT IN YOUR FACE METAL! SHOCK METAL! We use everything that fits our music But next time I’ll use BOMBASTIC HEAVY METAL….;-)”
I NOTICED AN INFLUENCE COMING FROM GRAVE DIGGER...
“Haha…..well, some find Metallica, Kreator, Sodom in our music others Judas Priest, Cooper, Wasp, That might be true, we listen to all of these bands so why not! After all it started with metal, it’s still metal and hopefully it will end with metal ha ha!!”
WHAT ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF ALBUM?
“Anders Hahne our producer did a very good job on this record We can’t thank him enough. All the band members have been involved in the production from start until end, and exercised the right to change and question everything. I think it’s a killer album and I wish someday it will be “carved” in vinyl.”
ANY PARTICULAR CONCEPT CONCERNING THE ALBUM?
“A journey through lust, violence and horror.”
WHAT'S THE MOOD OF IT?
“A psychotic, violent party album with freakish lyrics, screaming guitars and pounding drums that could awaken the dead …;-)”
THE MOST SALIENT ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW ALBUM?
“The awesome booklet with all the killer pics of cool rockstars!!! SS66 amazing guitar playing and the chainsaw solo on Eat your enemies that SS66 recorded live in studio (now there’re saw marks all over the place…haha).”
WHAT'S ABOUT THE FEEDBACK?
“Some very good Some good Some bad Some very bad..haha Well reviews are always a good way to get to know a band But always remember: No one can decide what U think about a band, what U like or what U should listen to. Use myspace to find out for yourself.”
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SOUND?
“It’s very important that our album does our live shows justice, What you hear on the album is what you get live. “

“Might be a small tour in 2008 but nothing is official yet so I have to come back about this! Want to Book?
