WHO ARE SILVER SKY-LINE AS BAND MEMBERS?

WHEN DID YOU HAVE FOUNDED THE BAND?
The rock band SILVER SKY was born at the beginning of 2004 in Valtellina
(in the north of Italy)
WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE VERY FIRST BEGINNING OF BAND...
The singer Grego met Gigi (bass player) and they decided to form a rock band playnig their own music.
Giorgio and Beppe Joined Silver Sky-line after a month.
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS RECORDING-EFFORTS?
Very soon their original creativity and their strong concord allowed the four guys to record a three songs demo.
(self-production). The single “Your Eyes” contains three original songs full of rhythm and musicality,
very appreciated by fans and critics in Valtellina.
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR FOLLOWING?
The band started to play in sever pubs and summer rock festival in Valtellina and Switzerland.
They made collaboration with a local theatre company “Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll,
a Eric Bogosian’s work in which they played their own songs "Planet Mars" and "The tiger and the Glory"
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACT IN YOUR HISTORY
In October the band flew to Brazil (Espìrio Santo State), between Bahia and Rio de Janeiro where they played
three charity performances. One concert was held in the major square of Sao Mateus, the capital of the State.
There were 60.000 peolpe and the show was very appreciated, especially among young people.
The money of the concerts was given to contribute at the realization of two nursery-schools.
Planet Mars and Messanger from Earth were played by local radios "Radio Kairos" and "Radio Guriri FM 105".
HOW TO INTRODUCE YOUR DEBUT ALBUM?
In April "Positive Rock" , the official first album was co-produced and released by U.d.u Records. It is composed of
8 songs.
THE SOUND IS PURE HARD ROCK...
Yes, especially for "The tiger and the glory" and "rayo de luz"
LOT OF SEVENTIES IN YOUR SOUND, RIGHT?
Yes, we love that sound, we want to play this kind of music even if these times are gone.
WHAT'S ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF ALBUM?
We recorded everything at home. We made a good job, but I think these songs could be improved very much
with a better recording. We are thinking about it. It needs lot of money...
ANY PARTICULAR CONCEPT CONCERNING THE ALBUM?
We gave very importance to the lyrics of the songs and to their positive messages. Our songs talks about the beauty of life
friendship, love, peace.
WHAT'S THE MOOD OF IT?
A good mood, sure. As the title of the album shows, we'd like to express good, positive feelings
THE MOST SALIENT ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW ALBUM?
Rayo de Luz, written in Spanish, is an hymn for life...hope ..and freedom.
WHAT'S ABOUT THE FEEDBACK?
Young people appreciated these songs quite a lot, especially in Brazil.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SOUND?
This sound helps us to communicate the positive messages of our songs. Our songs are quite melodic, this contibutes to
our maig purpose.
TOURING PLANS?
We are going to Brazil in september.For the second times we'll play in Sao Mateus.
This time we'll play in Salvador de Bahia too.
YOUR LIFE'S PHILOSOPHY?
To be in a good mood always, even if sometimes things are not as we wished. Braszilian children think the same...
THE FUTURE OF THE BAND?
The main aim is to keep on with our musical project. We wrote 6 more songs.
We'd like to make a single of our new song "Thunderbolt Rock" written in english and latin quite soon.
We need someone who help us to produce it properly.
