The Band's name is Neronova, and it represents the everlasting conflict between "nero", the bad side of a person, and "nova", the need of change and the curiosity to life.
WHO ARE NERONOVA AS BAND MEMBERS?
The Band members are:

Paolo Palmieri - bass
Andrea Fedrezzoni - Drums
WHEN DID YOU HAVE FOUNDED THE BAND?
The Band was founded in Modena - Italy - during June 2003
WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE VERY FIRST BEGINNING OF BAND...
The all band members previously Knew each other because they played in a trash metal Band called "Blackage", which issued a record in 1997 via Collapse Records, so the first impact, even if the new material was less heavy and brutal, was very comfortable and friendly.
The music, in the very beginning of Neronova, was a sort of melodic new metal, with keyboards, and the bass player was Stefano Bonfanti, 'cause Paolo joined the band only a year after the foundaton of the band itself. Then the music started to become heavier, without keyboards, and now it's nearer to bands like Machine Head and Black Label Society.
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS RECORDING-EFFORTS?
Neronova issued their first full length record, called "Memorie di un Clown" during november 2005. Before this release the band just made some demos.
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR FOLLOWING?
Neronova are written new material and the issue of the new album is scheduled for the end of 2007.
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTS IN YOUR HISTORY?
The moment when we started our collaboration with Giancarlo Passarella from "Ululati dall'Underground" was a very important fact for us, because he has always believed in us and in our music, and has made a lot for us, including the input for this interview.
Another two very important facts were the meeting with Tony D'Ambrosio and Michele Muti of Disc to Disc Productions in Milan, and the concert at Tempo Rock (Reggio Emilia) with a band called Finley.
HOW TO INTRODUCE YOUR DEBUT ALBUM?
"Memorie di un Clown" is a record that includes songs composed between 2003 and 2005 and is a sort of "best of" of the Band. The music is intense, diversified, and the mood is pretty original as regards the italian rock-metal scene.
THE SOUND IS PURE POWERFUL ROCK...
Yeah...it is!
WHY THE LYRICS IN ITALIAN?
Because the Band felt the need of express concepts and emotion in a language well-known and with a lot of synonymous words; besides the choice of the Italian lyrics was also inspired by the fact that the kind of rock that the Band plays is usually sang in English...so this is a pretty distinctive feature of Neronova.
WHAT'S ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF ALBUM?
The album was recorded in Modena at the Inferno Studios and was co-produced by Neronova, Rebel Yell Productions and Ululati dall'Underground.
ANY PARTICULAR CONCEPT CONCERNING THE ALBUM?
Masks...and the relationships between men and women.
WHAT'S THE MOOD OF IT?
The common meaning of many songs is about the masks that people usually wear to fake emotions and to hide what they really think about.
THE MOST SALIENT ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW ALBUM?
Power, intensity, originality as regards the italian rock and metal scene, lyrics.
WHAT'S ABOUT THE FEEDBACK?
People usually like it. Especially during the gigs they appear stroke about the music and the lyrics.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SOUND?
It's hard to say...probably the need of rebellion about hypocrisy and falsity of too many human relations.
TOURING PLANS?
The Band has in program to tour Italy as much as possible durin next autumn and next winter.
