we are a power metal band with neoclassical influences
WHO ARE MIZAR AS BAND MEMBERS?
Andrea ( voice), Francesco ( guitars) and me ( lead guitar) are the orignal members of the band.
In 2001 Marco ( keyboards) joined us to record our demo Accession and became a member of the band.
The rhythmic session has a long story, I can tell you we've found in Daniele ( drums), who joined us in 2005,
and Gianluca ( bass), who stepped in 2006,two good musician and friends.
WHEN DID YOU HAVE FOUNDED THE BAND?
The band was formed by me and Francesco in 1998.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE VERY FIRST BEGINNING OF BAND...
Me and Francesco met almost every day to compose but also to find our way and our style. It took a long time
but I think we made it!ll
We looked for good musicians and heavy metal lovers to play the music we love: after many changes of line up
I can say this is the best one we ever had!
As our drummer always says : we eated so much shit but one day we'll make eat it to someone else...
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS RECORDING-EFFORTS?
Our first demo war " Accession" ( 2001): 4 pure neoclassic metal tracks.
In 2003 we recorded "Time powder"...but the italian press did'n understand our too ambitious project!
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR FOLLOWING?
we think to record a selfrecorded CD with the best tracks we composed since 2006.
It will be more Heavy and homogeneous than "The Dark Sign".
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTS IN YOUR HISTORY?
Last year we take part in " Music Village", where we met producers, musicians, writers, authors but also band from each part of Italy.
It has been a moment to make ourself known and to know us trhough and trhough.
we can't forget the deal with Deadsun Records!
ANY INTRODUCTIVE WORDS TO "THE DARK SIGN"?
We can say it's our first best of!!! You can find songs from "Accession", some from "Time Powder" ( all rerecorded and with new arrangement!)
and new songs we wrote only for this album.
THE SOUND IS A CLASSIC HEAVY METAL WITHOUT FRILLS...
yes, it is! But there are also songs more precious like " Sacred eyes" and "Redemption" with more instrumental parts, twin guitar harmonization
and changes of tempo and style.
SOUND REMINDING EIGHTIES, DO YOU AGREE?
it's so natural for us: we grew up with this music!
WHICH ARE THE MAIN ISSUES OF YOUR SOUND?
Our songs are the result of the different musical experiences of the band members!
Some name? Iron Maiden, Helloween and Judas Priest but each one of us has some band or musician who influences his way to play!
ANY PARTICULAR CONCEPT CONCERNING THE ALBUM?
yes! The story began with " Accession", in this album we gave end to the story.
I like to say it is the story of a trip in conscience: the heir to the throne of hell
fight for his free will to be evil or good...but it's so somplicated to explain!
WHAT'S THE MOOD OF IT?
there are some emotional and melancholic moments, epic melodies in pure power metal style and also hopeful and joyful pieces
THE MOST SALIENT ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW ALBUM?
I think ( and many people says) " The Dark Sign" is an easy listening album!there are simple and catchy melodies that remain in mind.
After our live shows I heard so many people ( also old peole!!!!) singing or whistle " Hope"'s refrain!
WHAT'S ABOUT THE FEEDBACK?
We haven’t got any negative feedback yet so…
Many people writes us( many Christian metal lovers, but anly for the concept of the album!), and we had also some good reviews.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SOUND?
I think our is a positive message.
None says the world is good or that the good always win, this is not our message!
we want people fight for ideals. You must fight for what you want: you have to be persevering and have an iron will.
No one other than you can make your wish came true!
TOURING PLANS?
..something in our country...
YOUR LIFE'S PHILOSOPHY?
I think my life philosophy is the same I communicate with my songs!
I've fought for all I have now, but in some way I always gain what I want!
THE FUTURE OF THE BAND?
oh, for sure a new album! and some shows across Italy.
But we're also waiting for an opportunity to play across Europe!
