I am Lord K Philipson, founder and guitarist of God Among Insects.
WHO ARE GOD AMONG INSECTS AS BAND MEMBERS?
Emperor Magus Caligula of Dark Funeral is singing. Tomas Elofsson of Sanctification is doing the bass. Tobben Gustafsson of Vomitory is playing the drums and as mentioned in the first question, I do guitars.
WHEN DID YOU HAVE FOUNDED THE BAND?
I think we formed in 2004 or something like that. I had some material for th eband already in 2002 or somehting though, but we didn't start the band until 2004. Or it might have been 2003, I'm not sure and i don't fucken care too much about it. We are here now and that's all that counts.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE VERY FIRST BEGINNING OF BAND...
I just had some songs written that didnät really fit in my mainband The Project Hate, as these songs were more a full-on death metal assault than what we do in TPH. Then after some time I just bounced the idea of doing a new band with Tobben of Vomitory and he thought it was a great idea. We were actually meant to just record an album and do one gig and then split up the band, but since we had so much fucken fun we decided to carry on and terminate this shit when we feel it's not fun anymore. We are not there just yet though. As long as we find pleasure in what we do, we will carry on, and that's how we like it.
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS RECORDING-EFFORTS?
We have recorded 2 albums so far while the first one, "World wide death" concentrates on th eheavier side of death metal and the second one, "Zombienomicon" picks up the speed a hella lot more and feels like a more fun album to listen to. We were more prepared fpr the secopnd album and just worked a little more on th ematerial. The recordings were similar though, we just entered the studio and got drunk for 10 days and recorded some excellent and downtuned detah metal.
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR FOLLOWING?
We have a decent following and it starts to show at the gigs we are doing. We are not planning to make ourselves the biggest band in death metal or anything, we just concentrate on being th ebest. That's good enough for us. We thank everyone who cares enough as to buy our albums and shirts and show us their support at the concerts. You guys fucken rule.
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTS IN YOUR HISTORY?
There are no important facts in our history, we ar ejust in it for the metal of death.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO PRESENT US YOUR ALBUM?

WOULD YOU LIKE TO DESCRIBE US YOUR SOUND?
Downtuned, groovy, fucken death metal.
WHAT'S ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF ALBUM?
It's recorded in Tommy Tägtrgren's Abyss Studios and that's what we plan to do in the future as well. While the first album had a more sterile sound, the new one really caught the rawness and dirtiness we always were looking for. They sound fucken killer both of thm albums but I like the 2nd album's sound alot better.
ANY PARTICULAR CONCEPT CONCERNING THE ALBUM?
It's all about the Uhr-Nazuur now, which means you'll have to get the album and read th elyrics to understand what the fuck is happening...
WHAT'S THE MOOD OF IT?
We are in a very pissed mood and it will get worse with time.
THE MOST SALIENT ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW ALBUM?
The groove. That's all that counts. If shit doesn't groove it's just shit.
WHAT'S ABOUT THE FEEDBACK?
It's been awesome so far. I think peopl eunderstands the shit we are doing. We have nothing unique to offer, we just groove and slash things.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SOUND?
Not a shit, we just want people top dig it. If they don't, fuck them. They hav eno taste.
TOURING PLANS?
If we get any good offers we are up for it. It's not like we are going out playing if we lose money on it.
YOUR LIFE'S PHILOSOPHY?
Fuck it all, we are all dead anyways.
THE FUTURE OF THE BAND?
What happens happens. We'll kill this band when it's not fun anymore.
