WHO ARE END OF GREEN AS BAND MEMBERS?
"michelle darkness (voc/guit), cardinal matzinger (drums), rainier sicone di hampez (bass), kirk kerker (guitar) and myself sad sir (guitar)..."

WHEN DID YOU HAVE FOUNDED THE BAND?
"the band was founded about 1992. we realeased our first record in 1996"

WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE VERY FIRST BEGINNING OF BAND...
"we were like all bands that start. chaotic, a little naive but we did it with emotion."

WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS RECORDING-EFFORTS?
"there's five of them. infinity, believe my friend, songs for a dying world, last night on earth an dead end dreaming."

WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR FOLLOWING?
"don't know. we just released dead end dreaming. but it is probably going to be a good one."

THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTS IN YOUR HISTORY?
"getting signed, getting, dropped, getting signed again. since we are on silverdust records, things look pretty good for us. they probably saved our lives - musically."

WOULD YOU LIKE TO PRESENT YOUR NEW ALBUM "DEAD END DREAMING"?
"actually, yes. it's a psychotic, heartdriven piece of dark melodies."

WHY SUCH TITLE?
"sometimes you dream to escape from life. sometimes you can't escape your dreams in life. it's a dead end anyway. been thinking about dreams a lot in the last couple of years."

WHAT'S ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF ALBUM?
"we did it in stuttgart at mastersound studio. the production was done by alex krull (atrocity, leaves eyes) and he did a gorgeous job at it. i guess we never had a record that sounded that good ÐÊproductionwise."

ANY PARTICULAR CONCEPT CONCERNING THE ALBUM?
"Not really. We don't think about concepts at all. which actually is one of our strengths. We're pretty much heartdriven. We listen to our stomaches a lot. You can't combine that with concepts.The Only concept is "writing songs."

WHAT'S THE MOOD OF IT?
"Our music basically deals with those moments in everyday life when you feel fucked up, depressed, sad or alienated. We might not be the band you'd listen to while having a beachparty or some other festivity. Guess we're not able to write happy songs about how cool life is.... maybe because it isn't."

THE SOUND IS A BOMBASTIC GOTHIC HEAVY ROCK, RIGHT?
"we call it depressed subcore. i know, this doesn't say too much. We're somewhere between Metal, Goth, Rock'n'Roll and Alternative Music."

THE MOST SALIENT ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW ALBUM?
"hopefully the songs. I mean that's what records are for. We really think that dead end dreaming is a fine piece of rockmusic. and we think the sound is damn good."

WHAT'S ABOUT THE FEEDBACK?
"The reviews were overwhelming, really. it was about the get frightening how good people rate our record. but the most important thing was that the people who own our previous records also like dead end dreaming."

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SOUND?
"We're not trying to sell messages or some sort of lifestyle. We're basically singing about our lives, our thoughts, our little world ... some days ago some one left a message on our homepage: "You give me the strength to deal with the problems i can't solve anyway" that was about the best description i have heard in some time."

TOURING PLANS?
"We just finished a german tour and we're already getting our hands on some more place in the next couple of months, years .... we definitley like playing live."

YOUR LIFE'S PHILOSOPHY?
"None. Maybe i should get myself some."

THE FUTURE OF THE BAND?
"More Songs, more records more emotion."

ANY LAST REMARKS?
