WOULD
YOU LIKE TO SUM UP YOUR PERIENNAL EXPERIENCE?
"I have benn playing guitar for several years, a couple of albums during
the last 10 years (2 with "Tanner"-heavy with german lyrics-, 2 with my
instrumental band "Doc Heyne" (www.doc-heyne.de) and so far 2 with BISS
(www.B-I-S-S.com), also a couple of guestspots on different albums."
WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE VERY FIRST BEGINNING OF BAND...
"Producer Michael Voss offered me to record my ideas in his studio under
his production. As the songs developed we were looking for a singer- not
only in this area, but more all over the place to reach a wider range
of people."
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTS IN YOUR HISTORY?
"Meeting a bunch of good people over the last years and building up a
little reputation."
LET'S INTRODUCE 'FACE-OFF'?
"After the previous albums we started another production.During the production
process it got more and more clearer which kind of singer that music required.
Since I happened to know Marc and the music went more and more into a
direction his voice could fit in. we gave him a call and he did it.I am
extremely proud of that."
WHAT'S
ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF ALBUM?
"Again we tried to give our best at that particular time and I think it
turned out very good."
ANY PARTICULAR CONCEPT CONCERNING THE ALBUM?
"Not really-we just took it song by song and more or less automatically
a certain direction came alive."
v WHAT'S THE MOOD OF IT?
"Aggressive with a lot of melody, and a versatile voice to create these
these little different shades of mood."
THE SOUND IS VERY DIRECT AND LIVE...
"That´s what we hoped to achieve.We spend a lot of time on sounds."
WHAT'S ABOUT YOUR WAY TO WRITE?
"Usually I come up with the basic idea and Mike V and me take it from
there, arranging, detailing it out, lyrics, effects"
THE MOST SALIENT ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW ALBUM?
"The connection of power and melody and the flexible voice of Mr.Storace"
WHAT'S ABOUT THE FEEDBACK?
"So far everybody seems to like this album big time"
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SOUND?
"Just transport my feeling between power and softness"
TOURING PLANS?
"As usual all that depends on the sales in the 1st place.We all would
like to tour!"
YOUR LIFE'S PHILOSOPHY?
"We all should be greatful to live in times or at least in regions where
we can follow our goals and fulfill our dreams. Not a lot of people can
do that- so I thank god every day for that gift."
THE FUTURE OF THE BAND?
"Touring, new songs, new album and having a lot of fun."
