INTERVIEW TO ARKHON INFAUSTUS

I'M NOT WRONGIN' 'FILTH CATALYST' IS YOUR SECOND ALBUM, RIGHT?
"Filth Catalyst is the second album and the third one entilted Perdition
Insanabilis should be out in September 2004."
WHAT HAPPENED AFTER YOUR FIRST ALBUM?
"After each album there is a natural renewal of everything. A kind of
depression from which all rises again. After the first album was released,
we got a new member into Arkhon Infaustus, Toxik on guitars, then before
Filth Catalyst was recorded, we got A.ZK6 joining our ranks. Now Perdition
Insanabilis was recorded with the same line-up. We also made two tours,
one along with Mortician and one with Vader. All these experiences bring
us a different approach of our own music."
ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS ACHIEVED BY FIRST ALBUM?
"Each album was written and recorded in a particliar time of our life
and undesrtanding. So each album stands as milestone on this religious
trail. Above all, is ou search for the very core of Satan, and each album
or song, is a satellite around the Master."
WHICH
THE MAIN DIFFERENCEIS BETWEEN THE TWO ALBUMS?
"On each album we go further into bestiality and violence, but we have
learned to canalize this dark vibration, into something sharper. It doesn't
mean cleaner or whatever, but just that it is not enough to have a weapon,
you must learn how to aim and kill."
I'D LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE GENESIS OF ALBUM...
"What we stand for, as we are all very different in Arkhon Infaustus,
is melted into what will become the center of Arkhon Infaustus. Deviant
brings most of the music, and we build stone after stone what has to be
built. We all believe in every single note and every single word of Arkhon
Infaustus."
WHAT WAS YOUR AIM AT THE TIME OF WRITING OF STUFF?
"To bring another part of Satan unto perception, reflection and acts.
There is no other need into all this. No personnal fame. Arkhon Infaustus
is a priesthood."
ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH THE STUFF FEATURED IN YOUR NEW ALBUM?
"Perdition Insanabilis is the most violent and profound work we have ever
done so far. I can't say any words about it, being involved, but I have
the feeling, that He has spoken."
WHY THIS TITLE...I MEAN...'FILTH CATALYST'?
"This means that the album brings all lights and converge them into pure
filth. Like atoms getting together, this album accumulates all energy,
and returns it into something more compact and subversive."
WHAT'S ABOUT ITS CONCEPT?
"Reducing Arkhon Infaustus concepts of songs or albums would be an impossible
task in a few words. Concepts and words are turned so that fouls just
see something extreme and meaningless, and others will reach the real
volume of our revelations. I remember the story of an old preacher that
all people wanted to meet. When he got there he just looked like a drunk
man, saying stupid thoughts, so people left and left. Untill a few people
remained and still tried to figure out what he was saying. Then only he
started to act normal and started to learn to people who didn't stopped
to their first sight."
AN ANALYSIS OF ALL TRACKS FEATURED IN?
"This is impossible to do and useless. Listening to Arkhon Infaustus doesn't
mean a passive behaviour. This is not just music. Even if you don't get
all our views or get it all wrong, it will be better to have it done yourself
than just my explanations."
WHICH ARE YOUR FAVE TRACKS?
"From Hell Injection it would be Dead Cunt Maniac, from Filth Catalyst
it would be Criminal Deities and from Perdition Insanabilis surely M33
Constellation and Whirlwind Journey."
WHAT'S ABOUT THE MOOD OF ALBUM?
"The general atmosphere is malign evil. We have let ourselves go with
this album and so there is not only one ambience. Perdition Insanabilis
is a journey, a fall and it cannot be perceived as a single element."
IS THERE ANY SPECIFIC MESSAGE YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE?
"Satan is the revelation of all. All that perverts and destroys the body
and opens the mind is compulsory. There is no mind without flesh."
THE THEMATICS YOU DEAL IN YOUR SONGS?
"As I said, all songs are vasts, and it is impossible to sum up what lies
inside of them all."
ARE YOU HAPPY OF THIS WORLD?
"Yes. This world is at war, people deceive others, lies and traitors.
Religion have turned people into enslavement, tortures, rape... Man is
so predictable and acts so joyfully to his own misery."
HOW DO YOU REFLECT THE VIOLENCE SURROUNDING US?
"A natural way. But violence without a strong mind is but ashes in the
winds."
ARE YOU INFLUENCED BY REALITY?
"Satan is more real than anything."
WHAT'S ABOUT FEEDBACK OF PRESS?
"It has been really unequal, but it was never just in the middle, which
was really interesting. People hating us and people being at our side.
Who cares ? What importin a religion is not the followers but the revelation."
ANY TOURING PLANS?
"We have some proposals so far, but nothing is set yet. But we will tour
across Europe before the end of the year."
