1. Congratulation for “Kill The Sun” a very interesting debut album…
Thank you very much, we are very proud of it and love to hear that people
like it!
2. Let us know Xandria
We are four guys and a girl from northwestern germany, trying to write some
decent melodies that can move people´s hearts and feet.
3. You’re playing gothic metal, a very crowed genre, why a kids must
prefer your cd? What are the winning point of “Kill The Sun”?
I think we are giving the musical world some real good songs, of which we
think this world would be lacking of, if they didn´t exist. this has nothing
to do with playing a specific style, as we do not focus on making a specific
style, though people may call us gothic metal if they want. but I think
we are adding some new interesting aspects to this so called sound, experimenting
with not fulfilling all the old clichés, but just trying to write good songs.
and they CAN move your heart, if it is open for real emotions…
4. Someone says you’re the Germany’s answer of Lacuna coil…
We are not the answer to any other band, we are a statement for itself.
5. What are your many influence, I listen an oriental in “So you disappear”
and many interesting influence in over the cd Yeah, that is part of
the experimenting with new aspects. if you listen to old alan parsons project
albums, you will find that wide universe of sounds and atmospheric landscapes,
too. other influences are tiamat, black sabbath, paradise lost. but these
are just a few.

Love & hate, losing hope and gaining hope again…
7. What means for a new band the debut album, and what are your feeling
about “Kill Te Sun”?
We love it! it is so fantastic to see your long planned musical dreams come
true on a good sounding CD, that´s very special. and I wished every good
underground band had the opportunity to get that experience, too.
8. Why “Kill The Sun”
This title evokes strange associations in the reader´s mind, and that´s
what we liked to do. like "can we or are we actually allowed to extinguish
something that spends life and light?", and we don´t mean just the "sun",
of course it´s just a symbol for "light spending" things. in the case of
the title track it´s your self confidence that is attacked by fate´s tricks
sometimes.
9. There’s a tour coming on’
Yeah, we tour germany in october. if you want to come over, please check
