 I Virgin Steele sono considerati come una delle pi� importanti bands nel
panorama Metal:avvertite pressione per questo?Grazie per ci� che hai detto amico mio.(aaahhh!!!, mi ha chiamato amico. n.d.I.) Non realmente. L'unica pressione che avvertiamo � quella di voler dare sempre il meglio, sia on stage che in studio, cosa che abbiamo sempre fatto in passato. Siamo i nostri critici pi� duri e proviamo sempre a migliorarci; non siamo mai totalmente soddisfatti. Invictus e Hose of.sono considerati come veri e propri capolavori.Il nuovo album seguir� le stesse coordinate? Il nuovo album sar� cio' che sar�. Di sicuro ci muoveremo verso una logica prosecuzione dei lavori che hai menzionato, ma sar� una cosa comunque con una sua personalit�. Lo stile sar� riconoscibile; vorrei aggiungere nuovi elementi e spingerci un po' pi� in la' del solito: Sar� epico, Heavy, barbarico e romantico (ommadonna...!n.d.I)  Virgin Steele, Manowar, Manilla Road, l'epic Metal sembra pi� vivo che
mai.una tua opinione circa il Metal di ieri ,di oggi e di domani.Si, lo stato di salute del Metal sembra davvero ottimo. Spero continui cosi, cosicch� potremo andare avanti finche' vi sar� sangue di vita nelle nostre vene (grande Dave!n.d.I) Penso che il futuro del metal vedr� delle combinazioni dei vari generi, cosa che potrebbe portare alla nostra musica ancora tanta salute, tenendola viva. Sarebbe interessante vedere band suonare in modo classico arricchendo il tutto con nuovi eccitanti stili. E' la seconda volta che suonate in Italia in pochi mesi.Cosa ne pensi dell'Italian audience? Il pubblico italiano � davvero incredibile.mostra l'affetto che prova molto spontaneamente ed � davvero meraviglioso farne parte. Ci fanno sempre sentire fieri di suonare per loro. Di sicuro torneremo. Grazie a tutti coloro che erano ai nostri concerti. Conosci qualche band italiana? Sono molto amico con i Rhapsody e con i Labyrinth;ultimamente abbiamo conosciuto i Beholder e i Lacuna Coil davvero simpatici.  Virgin Steele ed il teatro:progetti?Ho appena completato una Metal-Opera intitolata "Lilith; la prima � stata lo scorso giugno in Germania. Ci saranno molte pi� rappresentazioni a settembre ed in tutta la nuova stagione teatrale. E' davvero andata alla grande: tutto sold out. Questa � la trama: ( molto, molto semplificata): �God gives "Birth" to Lilith in the Night, and lusts for her. She awakens his Dark, sensual Nature. God is afraid of Lilith. He finds her ... "uncontrollable", so... he creates Adam in the Light Of Day, to be more in his own image. Adam & Lilith meet ... they try to have a hmmm... Romantic Evening ... but all goes very wrong. Adam wants to be on top ... (sexually & otherwise), and Lilith wants the same so... they fight! She pushes him away & flies off on her Glorious Green Wings! Lilith winds up in the Red sea where she cavorts with Demons and has numerous children. The 3 Black Angels arrive to make her come back, but she refuses. So... they tell her OK, as punishment 100 of your children will die per day. We will kill them. Lilith says ... "ahhh Fuck off, I will be the one to do any killing around here!" and so... she is slowly turned from the Good Mother ... into the Terrible Mother. This is an exact parallel to what occurred with the destruction of the early "Pagan" Societies, by the more "organized" Religions. Meanwhile God creates Eve for Adam, and the plot ... thickens! Of course this synopsis of mine, is extremely brief. Essential what we are dealing with are male / female relationships and the schism between the sexes which occurred early on in our Past.� Cheers & By The Black Sun & Moon, David De Feis.
